Registered Psychologist & Behaviour Support Practitioner
This is a rare opportunity to shape something new within a supportive and established organisation.
Grace Therapy is looking for a energetic and innovative registered psychologist to join the team, commencing on a part-time or fulltime basis.
For almost 18 years, Grace Therapy has been a leading occupational therapy practice in the Sydney Hills District supporting children, young people, and their families to thrive at home, school, and in the community.
We’re now expanding our services — and this is where you come in.
We’re looking for an innovative and energetic Psychologist to spearhead the development of our new Psychological Services stream. This is a rare opportunity to shape something from the ground up within a supportive, established team.
About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering evidence-based psychological services for children, adolescents, young adults and families. You’ll collaborate closely with our occupational therapists and leadership team to build an integrated service model that truly supports the whole person.

You’ll provide support across a diverse caseload, including:
Children and young people with autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse profiles and developmental challenges.
Children and young people with acquired or traumatic brain injury and other physical disabilities requiring emotional regulation and adjustment support.
Families managing feeding challenges and providing support with eating disorders (such as arfid).
Young people navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, or school-based challenges.
Clients and families requiring adjustment support related to disability, trauma or major life transitions
Provide parent coaching
What you’ll be doing:
Providing assessment, diagnosis, and individualised therapy plans for children and young adults with a range of mental health, developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs
Deliver services under the NDIS, Medicare, SIRA and Private Healthcare
Delivering therapy using creative, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate approaches
Supporting innovation in therapy delivery — whether that’s through group programs, telehealth, or creative approaches to engagement.
Working closely with families, schools, and support networks to promote wellbeing and functional outcomes.
Contributing to the design and rollout of our psychology service model.
Providing parent coaching and psychological services to support families
What we’re looking for:
Registration as a Psychologist
Registered with AHPRA & APS
Registered with SIRA or willing to obtain registration
Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families.
A collaborative and forward-thinking mindset
Willing to work alongside our occupational therapy team
Providing evidence-based treatment, ensuring clients receive the most effective care tailored to their individual needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energy, creativity, and a passion for making an impact
Interest in helping shape and grow a new service stream within a well-respected allied health practice.
House-keeping requirements include a Working with Children Check, Police Check and NDIS screener, NSW Drivers Licence, CPR & 1st Aid.
Experience and qualifications to conduct Behaviour Support Plans under NDIS is highly regarded as this is a new service for our practice.
Available to work after school hours and a short Saturday
What we offer:
A well-established organisation with 18 years in the disability sector.
The chance to lead and influence a new area of service delivery.
Strong administrative and clinical team support.
Fully resourced practice
Laptop and tech stack to support workflow
An environment that values initiative and innovation within an evidence-based framework.
